Dear readers,
Learning can be in many forms. The format adopted by a university to teach its students can make or break the university’s stature. We believe anybody who has passed high school could excel in his or her study at the university, if the student is given the fullest understanding of the basic vocabulary to a topic, in an environment he is familiar with. From here, the student could easily explore further the concepts that usually come along with the topic, much more holistically.
Experiential learning for innovation mindset is UniCAM’s forte. We have adopted this format since the day we started in 2007. That experiential learning is fun to teach and students just love to do it, especially in groups, where they get to see the challenges in real life. The despair and excitement in the learning arising from the mistakes and successes, while doing a task, lead to a concrete experience which reflects the student’s true feeling. The repetition of this process develops the students with the innovation mindset which could add much value to the students themselves and the nation.
It is with this regard, we feel honoured that our humble Aviation Management College has been upgraded to University College of Aviation Malaysia (UniCAM) in December 2021. We wish to thank the Malaysian Ministry of High Education for awarding us this stature, and it is our promise to our students that learning at UniCAM is fun, fulfilling with the leadership, energy, creativity and self efficacy skills inborn.
Thank you.
